Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster

Pagani, the Italian super car that relies on Mercedes Benz' power plant manufacturing has recently released another brand new roadster Zonda R version. The introduction of thePagani Zonda Cinque Roadster to the market is well-received, and similar to its coupe sister, Pagani only produced 5 units and was sold at a 1.3 million Euro price tag ($1.85 million). It is also patterned after the Modenese Atelier.

Performance
This super car, made of carbo-titanium material (carbon fiber weaved with titanium threads), features a hand built super twin engine that are turbocharged AMG v12 machines. This makes up to 678 horsepower of traction. The rocket ship inspired car accelerates to 60 kilometers per hour in only 3.4 seconds. Consequently, it also hits 200 kilometers per hour in less than 10 seconds. Overall, its top speed reaches 217 miles per hour. This coupe version features ceramic-coated exhaust system with a titanium framework. Basically, this is the same aluminum/magnesium that the rims are made of. The car also has maximum side acceleration of 1.45 G already with the road tires.

Its Brembo brakes are self ventilated carbo-ceramic material with hydraulic servo brakes. The down force of the car is at 300 kilometers per hour at 750 kg. Pagani used all weight reduction measures to basically improve the performance, driving pleasure and emission features that many racers have found very convincing in the model of Cinque Roadsters.

Exterior
The car's chassis is built with carbon titanium finish and was redesigned in order to compensate for its lack of roof. The enhanced features of the Cinque are further emphasized with its roof stored in its front bonnet. The car seats are also made of Pagani leather cum carbon fiber material.
Weight distribution while driving is at 47% in front and 53% at the rear. Horacio Pagani and his mechanics exhibit their mastery of art and engineering in the new Zonda Cinque Roadster. If you choose to drive around with the Cinque, you will discover its ultimate performance and daily drivability very convenient due to its various drive modes resting in the adjustable suspension setup and sequential robotized gearbox.

More
It is fascinating to drive a car that weighs 1,210 kilograms in open air roads, knowing that only you and four others are the only ones who are kept in awe with its reliable performance and durability. This limited edition super car packs all the good stuff that one wishes of a dream car. On recent road tests by car professionals, it has been dubbed the best of the Zonda series due to its automated gearbox which cannot be found in other non-Cinque units. It may look racecar low to many drivers but it certainly copes well with an imperfect tarmac. Gear changes have been remarkably better too. With just five manufactured by Pagani, this model will be the swansong for the Zonda lineup. It is certainly worth its price and will never disappoint one's expectations of a super car.

Ferrari Enzo

Ferrari cars have always been one of the most coveted cars by many enthusiasts. When the company decided to develop the Enzo, there was a rave about what it will be like and how much it can offer to customers.
The Ferrari Enzo, a 650 horsepower super car named after its founder, was developed in 2002 using Formula One technology.

With the car already using carbon fiber for its body and an electro-hydraulic F1 transmission, more innovations were even made that were not present in the F1 such as aerodynamics and active traction control. Its ultra-light, V12 engine with four valves per cylinder was a first in the new generation of Ferrari cars. Sports Car International ranked the car third on their list of top sports cars of the year 2000. Consequently, it also ranked fourth in Motor Trend Classics' Ten Greatest Ferraris.

Performance
The Enzo was designed by Japanese Pininfarina head Ken Okuyama was initially introduced at the 2002 Motor Show in Paris and had a limited number of units priced at $ 659,330. Pininfarina wanted a car the will be entirely different from the usual approach used for its predecessors (GTO, F40 and 50). A mid-engine vehicle whose weight distribution is at 43.9 at the front and 56 in the rear, the Enzo has variable valve timing and dual overhead cams to add to its naturally aspirated engine.
It is designed with an automatic transmission (F1 gearbox) and uses paddles to control its clutch mechanism and automated shifting. The LED light right at the steering wheel tells the driver to shift gears as necessary. Their independent four wheel suspension with actuated shock absorbers are adjusted right inside the cabin and have front and rear anti-roll bars. The 19 inch wheels uses Brembo 15 inch disc brakes and are held by a lug nut. They are fitted with RE050A Potenza Scuderia tires. The car can accelerate up to 60 miles per hour in merely 3.14 seconds and reaches 100 miles per hour in a short 6.6 seconds.

Only 399
Serious drivers will find that the Enzo is what their car dreams are made of, however getting their hands on one will be a bit of a challenge since only 399 units were manufactured. Ferrari cars have always been known for its high speeds and distinct lines. The Enzo is an extreme super sports car whose racing capabilities have been hard to resist. One notable fact is that each time one of these supercars crashes, the cost of the remaining Ferrari Enzo’s goes up, currently it is as much as $1,000,000.
It would be a rare but a beautiful sight to see this on the freeway, however, due to its limited availability, you may realize that most owners will have this super car tucked somewhere in their garage to be looked at. Getting behind the wheel will require wide open spaces without any other cars around. Overall, for someone who loves racing and all its glory, the Ferrari Enzo is one of the greatest vehicles ever made. This wonderfully crafted beauty deserves its fame and success and will surely make a statement anywhere.

Jaguar XJ220

One of the many mid-engine cars produced by Jaguar is the Jaguar XJ-220. Though not really the typical spare-time born project due to its fame, its creator, Jim Randle worked tediously to create the super car he dreamt of for Christmas. His contagious enthusiasm inspired his colleagues to form a “Saturday club” with the sole purpose of working on the project. The giant car company remained oblivious of the secret tinkering activities by its engineers at Whitley and when they discovered the project, the enthusiasm got more intense. The brand new super car was wheeled out of its home to be showcased at the Bingham Motor Show as Jaguar's official concept car.

Performance
With its exposure to the market, the Tom Wilkinshaw Racing collaborated with the company to manufacture a 6.2 liter version of the V12 engine that Jaguar had. The engine boasts of four cylinder valves and quad cams. Its target output was 500 horsepower. The all -wheel drive mechanism produced by FF Developments and styling creatively done by Keith Helfet gave it even more fame. The doors, similar to the Lamborghini's models are crafted in a scissor style pattern. The Jaguar XJ220 was named after its 220 miles per hour top speed was realized.

Engine
The prototype model weighs at 1,560 kg and was significantly heavier compared to the other Jaguar models like XJR-9. However, it was primarily crafted to be a road car like the XJS units despite the fact that it is 30 inch longer and 10 inch wider. Along with the weight of the all-wheel drive, it is still 375 pounds lighter than the XJS. The production version, on the other hand, was announced in 1991 after undergoing significant changes like its new drive train and doors, rear wheel drive and a 3.5 v6 engine which was a first in the history of Jaguar’s manufacturing ventures.

It was also the first engine to use forced induction. Many of the original customers were disgruntled over the physical changes and more so over the price increase of the XJ220 and this led to a blow in its sales. The global recession even added more injury to its declining sales statistics. Despite this, over 200 units were still sold.

Limited Production
The super car became the king of the road back then and was the benchmark for the production of super cars. Way before the Mclaren F1 became a hit; the XJ220 then was fastest of its kind throughout the world. Although that was two decades ago, the Jaguar XJ220 still holds a very remarkable spot in the racing industry and still ranks 7th in the fastest super cars list. There are only 278 units, making its chances of being owned very slim.
With reviews dating back two decades, this car definitely set the bar in the super cars production and manufacturing. Its interior is spacious and airy with excellent comfortable seats that can hold you in place while quick cornering. The road tests reveal how its performance never intimidates and its statistics reveal why it was a league of its own. During that time it can be said that it is the finest handling super car ever, making the rest look flawed and spongy.
